Next place a 1"X6"X25.5" under the assembled end piece and set a scrap 1"x4" on top of it.

Now place a 1"x4"x24" piece on top of the scrap 1"x4" and attach it 6" from the en of the table. (Once again I used pocket holes but you could use screws through the side wall).

Next move the 1"x6" and the 1"x4" down so that they can support the next cross beam and set a 1"x4"x24" crossbeam on top of them. Place one of the table legs on the two crossbeam and move them so that they light up with the attachment point for the leg. Once the 1"x4" is in position attach it to the sidewall, but do not attach the leg it will be attached later.
